The thesis has as its aim to provide a thorough description of pronominal clitics in Iranian languages. The parameters to the study of clitics include their functions, placement principles, and interaction with other person markers. In addition, it investigates the areal distribution of various parameters to the study of pronominal clitics in an Iranian and a typological perspective.
