Thesis Description :
Inspired from metalloenzymes, the aim of my thesis is to associate a biologically relevant metal ion to a redox organic cofactor under the supramolecular control of a macrocycle. Calixarenes seem to be particularly suitable scaffolds to this goal since they are constituted by phenol derivatives.
