On-chip generation of high dimensional entangled states of light

Thesis Description :

The project aims at developing novel semiconductor devices and to engineer and manipulate high-dimensional photonic quantum states. Such non-classical states, exploiting entanglement in polarization, frequency or spatial modes, are excellent candidates to realize secure, super-dense quantum communication and information tasks, following new trends developed by theoretical research.
The expected results have the potential to become a new generation of devices for quantum information and open the way towards complete quantum optics lab on a chip.
