Thesis Description :
The project aims at assessing whether Cadherin and Nesprin proteins are involved in a common mechanotrasduction pathway implying Catenin protein release. To do so, we would like to apply mechanical forces directly on Cadherins and Nesprins or perturb them by means of drugs and/or protein mutants.
