Thesis Description :
RNA not only conveys the genetic information and but also performs as a key regulatory factor in the biological systems. Its function mostly relies on the structural characters and dynamics. We aim to develop a new methodology, using synthetic RNA system called “structure sensor” for real-time probing in vivo. The structure sensor is designed based on the RNA-RNA interaction, i.e. nucleic acid hybridization, consisting of a probe, a switch and a reporter.
